The All Pakistan Security Agencies Association (APSAA) was established on 6 October 1992 in Karachi, when a group of leading private security companies came together to create a unified representative body for Pakistan's private security industry.
The primary objectives of APSAA were to promote the welfare of employees working in the private security sector, enhance public awareness regarding the importance of professional security services, and safeguard the legitimate interests of the industry through effective coordination and constructive engagement with government authorities at the federal and provincial levels.
During the inaugural meeting, the founding member companies established the eligibility criteria for membership and prepared the initial framework of the Association's Constitution, laying the foundation for a transparent and representative organization.
The Head Office of APSAA was established in Karachi, which continues to serve as the Association's central administrative office and headquarters.
